ADP: Private employers add 198,000 jobs

ADP released the latest installment of their National Employment Report, indicating that private employers added 198,000 jobs in February. The rest of the data in the ADP dataset indicates the economy is currently showing the most growth for small to mid-sized service providing jobs.

Today, private staffing and business services firm聽ADP聽released the聽latest installment of their National Employment Report聽indicating that the situation for private employment in the U.S. improved in聽February as private employers added 198,000 jobs in the month bringing the total employment level 1.64% above the level seen in February 2012.聽

Perusing聽the rest of the data in the ADP dataset聽you can see the the economy is currently showing the most growth for small to mid-sized service providing jobs with goods-producing jobs remaining near trough levels.聽

Look for Friday鈥檚 BLS Employment Situation Report to likely show somewhat similar trends.聽
