As we previously reported, a small-screen adaptation of Susanna Clarke鈥檚 popular novel 鈥淛onathan Strange and Mr. Norrell鈥 is being released on the BBC in Britain and on BBC America in the US. The show stars 鈥淩ay Donovan鈥 actor Eddie Marsan and Bertie Carvel of the stage production 鈥淢atilda.鈥
We now have a release date for 鈥淛onathan鈥 鈥 the TV program will air on the BBC on May 17 in Britain and will come to American TV sets on June 13, according to BBC America.
Meanwhile, another acclaimed fantasy novel will be coming to TV as well. Syfy has ordered 12 episodes of a TV adaptation of Lev Grossman鈥檚 novel 鈥淭he Magicians,鈥 according to Deadline.聽
