According to the Telegraph, a children鈥檚 story written by the monarch when the queen was 10 years old will be published this June by the Royal Collection Trust. It鈥檚 titled 鈥淭he Adventures of Alice Laselles鈥 and follows a girl who goes to boarding school after her father enters into a new marriage.聽
鈥淚f Victoria hadn鈥檛 been destined to be the Queen, I think she might have made a remarkable novelist,鈥 author Jacqueline Wilson wrote in an introduction for the book, according to the Guardian.聽
Some of the book鈥檚 illustrations will include digitally manipulated versions of paper dolls created by Queen Victoria and the monarch鈥檚 governess, Baroness Louise Lehzen. Etchings by Cristina Pieropan will also be included in the work.
