Elizabeth Gilbert鈥檚 next book will be a nonfiction examination of the creative process.聽
Gilbert鈥檚 work, titled 鈥淏ig Magic,鈥� is set to be released by Riverhead on Sept. 22. According to the publisher, 鈥淕ilbert digs deep into her own generative process to share her wisdom and unique perspective鈥�. [S]he offers powerful insights into the mysterious nature of creativity. She invites readers to embrace curiosity and to let go of needless suffering. She discusses the attitudes, approaches, and habits that allow the most creative life possible.鈥澛�
Gilbert鈥檚 previous nonfiction works include her memoir 鈥淓at, Pray, Love鈥� and her 2010 book 鈥淐ommitted,鈥� while her most recent work, 鈥淭he Signature of All Things,鈥� was a novel.
As noted by the Los Angeles Times, the author鈥檚 two TED talks focused on the creative process.
