Charlaine Harris, author of the 鈥淪ookie Stackhouse鈥� series, is now telling a new paranormal story.
Harris鈥� novel 鈥淢idnight Crossroads,鈥� which is out today, is the first of a planned trilogy and follows Manfred Bernardo, who works as a psychic and may actually be able to the see the future. He鈥檚 new in the town of Midnight, Texas, where residents also include a vampire and a witch.
The author鈥檚 鈥淪ookie鈥� novels are the basis for the HBO series 鈥淭rue Blood,鈥� which is set to air its final season this summer.
Harris released what was billed as the final book in her 鈥淪ookie鈥� series, titled 鈥淒ead Ever After,鈥� this past May.
