'The Fault in Our Stars' trailer shows more of the love story between a teenager diagnosed with cancer, Hazel, and a boy she meets at a support group.
A new trailer for the film adaptation of John Green鈥檚 bestselling young adult novel 鈥淭he Fault in Our Stars鈥� shows more of the upcoming film.
Protagonist Hazel (Shailene Woodley), who has been diagnosed with cancer, describes her life at the beginning of the clip: 鈥淒octor鈥檚 appointments, reality shows 鈥� worst of all, support groups.鈥�
Actor Mike Birbiglia, who portrays support group leader Patrick, plays a song on his guitar before asking Hazel solicitously, 鈥淗azel, how are you doing?鈥�
鈥淵ou mean besides the cancer? All right, I guess,鈥� she replies.聽
The clip also shows more interaction between Hazel and Gus, a boy who she meets at the support group. They are chatting and getting along until she鈥檚 aghast when he takes out a cigarette.
鈥淵ou just ruined this whole thing!鈥� she says. 鈥淵ou were doing really well, too.鈥�
