鈥淪tar Trek Into Darkness鈥� actress Zoe Saldana will reportedly star in the NBC TV remake of the classic horror film 鈥淩osemary鈥檚 Baby.鈥�
As we previously reported, NBC is crafting the remake as a four-hour miniseries and 鈥淭reme鈥� director Agnieszka Holland is on board to direct the adaptation. 鈥淨ueen of the Damned鈥� writer Scott Abbott and James Wong of 鈥淎merican Horror Story鈥� are penning the script.
鈥淶oe has proven that she is one of our most gifted actresses, and we think she has the perfect combination of spirit and gravitas to take on the title role from Ira Levin鈥檚 infamous novel,鈥� NBC鈥檚 executive vice-president for movies, miniseries, and international co-productions Quinn Taylor said of Saldana鈥檚 casting, according to Deadline.
Saldana recently starred in this spring鈥檚 film 鈥淪tar聽 Trek Into Darkness鈥� as well as this winter鈥檚 鈥淥ut of the Furnace鈥� and the 2009 film 鈥淎vatar.鈥�
