'Rosemary's Baby' will be adapted as a miniseries by NBC

NBC is reportedly producing a miniseries of the Ira Levin novel 鈥淩osemary鈥檚 Baby,鈥� which was also the basis for the 1968 horror movie starring Mia Farrow.
According to Deadline, the series will be four hours and will be directed by Agnieszka Holland, who was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2010 for directing the pilot of the HBO series 鈥淭reme.鈥� She has also been nominated for an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for her work on the 1990 film 鈥淓uropa Europa,鈥� which she also directed.
鈥淎merican Horror Story鈥� writer James Wong and Scott Abbott of the 2002 film 鈥淨ueen of the Damned鈥� are on board as writers for the project, according to Deadline.
Casting has not yet been announced.
According to NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke, the story will be contemporary and will take place in Paris.

Director Roman Polanski鈥檚 adaptation of Levin鈥檚 novel starred Farrow, 鈥淭he Dirty Dozen鈥� actor John Cassavetes, and Ruth Gordon of 鈥淗arold and Maude.鈥� Gordon won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role and the movie was also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay.
