Writer EL James, hot off the massive success of her 鈥淔ifty Shades of Grey鈥� trilogy, recently dropped a few hints about her next project.
James didn鈥檛 reveal any plot details besides the fact that it would not be a continuation of her series following college student Anastasia Steele and her billionaire paramour 海角大神 Grey. In fact, she said her new book will be much tamer.
鈥淚t won鈥檛 be nearly so raunchy 鈥� and I will probably write it under another name,鈥� the author told the New York Post.
James is, in fact, a pseudonym for the writer whose real name is Erika Mitchell.
In the interview, the author also discussed the planned movie adaptation of the 鈥�50 Shades鈥� books. While rumors have been flying about who鈥檚 in consideration to play Anastasia and 海角大神, James said nothing is definite yet.
鈥淲e don鈥檛 even have a filmmaker鈥�. so we are still a long way away from casting,鈥� the writer told the Post. 鈥淚 have some ideas鈥�. but it may not be who people expect.鈥�
The 鈥�50 Shades鈥� movie adaptation is being written by Kelly Marcel, who was a co-creator, writer, and executive producer of the Fox sci-fi drama 鈥淭erra Nova,鈥� which was canceled after half a season.
