Bill O鈥橰eilly鈥檚 newest book, 鈥淜illing Kennedy,鈥 will be adapted for television by National Geographic, with production slated to begin this spring.
O鈥橰eilly鈥檚 book 鈥淜illing Lincoln,鈥 co-written, like 鈥淜ennedy,鈥 with writer Martin Dugard, was also adapted for TV by National Geographic, and the special is scheduled to air this February. Director Ridley Scott is producing both adaptations. The 鈥淜ennedy鈥 adaptation will be two hours.
鈥淧roducing Bill O鈥橰eilly鈥檚 follow-up was a no-brainer and will be yet another story that will resonate with our audience,鈥 National Geographic Channel president Howard Owens said in a statement.
Casting for 鈥淜ennedy鈥 has not yet begun, but actor Billy Campbell is portraying Abraham Lincoln in the special 鈥淜illing Lincoln鈥 and actor Tom Hanks is narrating the film.
