New 'Bridget Jones' book is due next fall

Hapless heroine Bridget Jones will be back for a third installment, according to author Helen Fielding.
Fielding, who is behind the two previous books, 鈥淏ridget Jones鈥檚 Diary鈥� and 鈥淏ridget Jones: The Edge of Reason,鈥� said that the novel will be set in current London. While a third film is being planned, the two plots will not be related (the third movie is said to follow Bridget becoming pregnant), and the book will have Bridget鈥檚 tweets in place of the usual entries in her diary.
鈥淸It鈥檚] an entirely new scenario for Bridget,鈥� Fielding said during an appearance on the TV show 鈥淲omen鈥檚 Hour鈥�. 鈥淚f people laugh as much reading it as I am while writing it, then we鈥檒l all be very happy鈥� It鈥檚 more like 鈥榥umber of Twitter followers: 0. Still no followers. Still no followers鈥欌�� She is still on the diet鈥� She's trying a bit harder, and is a bit more successful, but she's never really going to change.鈥�
The new book is due next fall and will be released through the publisher Jonathan Cape.
