Hilary Mantel's Tudor novels coming to TV

Hilary Mantel's 'Wolf Hall' and 'Bring Up the Bodies' will be adapted into a BBC miniseries.

Hilary Mantel鈥檚 bestselling historical novels 鈥淲olf Hall鈥 and 鈥淏ring Up the Bodies鈥 will be adapted into a miniseries for BBC that will air in 2013.

The miniseries will be in six parts and will be adapted by 鈥淭inker Tailor Soldier Spy鈥 co-writer Peter Straughan.

鈥淲olf Hall鈥 centers on Thomas Cromwell, an advisor to King Henry VIII, and his attempts to navigate the treacherous waters of the English court, while 鈥淏ring Up the Bodies鈥 tells the story of Henry鈥檚 second, ill-fated wife Anne Boleyn.
