I just finished Eisenhower in War and Peace by Jean Edward Smith, a fast-paced read (700 pages), exciting because it gives the inside story of the working style of a wise leader and president during astounding world events. Smith uses research from many sources, ranging from the present and the past, highlighting the decision and leadership policies of leaders from Ulysses S. Grant to Barack Obama.
