Karen Russell's 'St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves' is to be adapted for TV
ABC is reportedly working on a TV adaptation of Russell's short story collection.

According to the , the adaptation of "St. Lucy's" is taking place at ABC. Writer Jenny Bicks, who is also behind the upcoming TV adaptation of the memoir 鈥淢arley and Me,鈥 is supervising the project, with Channing Powell of 鈥The Walking Dead鈥 on board to write the adaptation.
Russell鈥檚 collection was first published in 2007 and centers on twins Felix and Claudette, who attend the titular boarding school and have a profound effect on its students and the residents of the surrounding town of Green Hills, Maine.
Russell is also the author of 鈥淪wamplandia!,鈥 which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for fiction, and the short story collection 鈥淰ampires in the Lemon Grove,鈥 as well as the novella 鈥淪leep Donation.鈥
