'Game of Thrones' actors drop hints about the upcoming season at the Emmys

Game of Thrones鈥 actors discussed the upcoming season of the HBO drama at the Emmy Awards this past weekend.

Actress Lena Headey, who portrays vicious queen Cersei, told 鈥渢he stakes are higher than they ever have been.鈥

Kit Harington, who plays Night鈥檚 Watch soldier Jon Snow, said he鈥檚 been getting more experience in makeup this season with a new scar his character will be sporting from an attack in the last episode.

鈥淢y face is not okay,鈥 he said in an interview with . 鈥淚t鈥檚 far from okay. I have to have scars this season鈥 He鈥檚 a bit in the wars, old Jon Snow. And it doesn鈥檛 get any easier this season.鈥

However, Harington said the romance between his character Jon and the wildling Ygritte is far from over.

鈥淢e and Rose, who plays Ygritte, we鈥檙e as close to a love story as you get in the show,鈥 he said. 鈥淵ou have to follow that up and see what happens this season.鈥

Actor Peter Dinklage, who portrays Cersei鈥檚 brother Tyrion, told how much he鈥檚 enjoying working with actress Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark. Tyrion and Sansa were married near the end of the third season, though the step was not either character鈥檚 first choice.
