Novice Thai nuns walk along a pond at the Sathira-Dhammasathan Buddhist meditation center in Bangkok, Thailand, Saturday. Over 50 girls, between 5 and 12 years old, were ordained as nuns for 10 days after going through three months of training. The center, founded in 1987, is a learning community for peace and harmony that has programs open to people regardless of age and gender.
