These false-color images taken by NASA鈥檚 Terra satellite show the city of Ishinomaki, northern Japan on August 8, 2008 (top) and March 14, 2011. Ishinomaki is one of several coastal cities brutalized by the swirling wall of waves from the tsunami caused by the earthquake that devastated northern Japan on March 11.
