鈥Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said in a speech marking 鈥淣akba Day鈥 that the Palestinians would never give up the 鈥榬ight of return.鈥

He said that the 鈥榬evolutions鈥 in the Arab world would have a positive impact on the Palestinians and a negative effect on the 鈥榋ionist entity.鈥 He also urged the Arabs and Muslims to provide the Palestinians with financial and military aid.
The Hamas leader reiterated his movement鈥檚 opposition to recognizing Israel鈥檚 right to exist in spite of the reconciliation agreement with Fatah.
鈥榁ictory is coming and so is the state,鈥 he declared. 鈥淭he refugees will return and occupation will end.鈥欌
"鈥橶e firmly condemn this new Zionist crime against our people who were demonstrating peacefully,鈥 the group, which controls the Gaza Strip and whose leader Khaled Meshaal is based in Damascus, said in a statement.
鈥榃e call on the international community to assume its responsibility in light of the continuous Zionist crimes against our people,鈥 it said, adding that Sunday's clashes marked a new chapter in the struggle against the 鈥榋ionist occupation.鈥欌
鈥榃e say to the entire world that the return of the Palestinian refugees to their homeland will remain a central part of the Palestinian question,鈥 the statement said.鈥
