Every Day Is Super Bowl Sunday
Reporters on the Job: Truth in advertising? I love avocados. And that made this story about a hard one to finish.
Every time I鈥檇 do an interview, or look at a website, or sit down to write, I would crave avocados. One day, I was working on the story in the morning, and went to the local hole-in-the-wall near my home in Mexico City where they put slices of avocado on top of chicken soup.
You鈥檇 think that would have satiated me, but by the time I had returned to writing the story, my craving had returned. I went to the supermarket, picked up a bag of avocados, and bought blue corn chip tortillas.
