Small-scale protests and clashes throughout Bahrain over the weekend seemed like they could turn into much larger clashes Monday as protesters prepared for a "day of rage" and police prepared to squash it. The Bahraini government has already tried to halt unrest by in the country, but that has not seemed to satisfy the country's Shiite majority, which is unhappy living under a Sunni government, Reuters reports. Some wonder if an uprising by Bahrain's Shiites could inspire the Shiites of neighboring Saudi Arabia.
