Vince Cable is Jeremy Hunt鈥檚 predecessor as the culture secretary in David Cameron鈥檚 Conservative government. A member of the Conservative鈥檚 junior partner, the Liberal Democrats party, Mr. Cable was set to adjudicate the attempted News Corp. purchase of BSkyB, but was forced to step down after he was that he had 鈥渄eclared war on Mr. Murdoch.鈥�
