Denmark鈥檚 People鈥檚 Party made headlines earlier this summer for its successful demand that the country implement some border controls, which were banned under the Schengen Agreement of the 1990s.
The People鈥檚 Party makes up 13.9 percent of the Danish parliament. Founded in 1998, it has steadily gained followers and has as they attempt to win back voters who turned to the right-wing party, according to The New York Times.
