Ms. Nooyi is head of Pepsi Co., the United States鈥� largest food company and one of the largest in the world 鈥� although Pepsi slipped to the third-ranked soft drink last year, behind US-based Coca Cola鈥檚 Coke and Diet Coke.
Pepsi Co. generated about $60 billion in revenue last year. Nooyi will more than double the company鈥檚 nutritional portfolio by 2020 and has devoted significant funding to developed a zero-calorie soda as good as the current product.
Last year, Nooyi was the world鈥檚 sixth most powerful woman.
