6. That鈥檚 a lot of snow

The morning of the week 14 Giants-Vikings matchup, the inflatable roof of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, Minnesota鈥檚 home stadium, gave way under the weight of almost a foot and a half of snow that had fallen overnight. The game had to be postponed a day and played at Detroit鈥檚 Ford Field.

The following week, with the help of hundreds of Vikings fans digging snow out of the University of Minnesota鈥檚 TCF Bank Field, the Vikings hosted the Bears in the first outdoor NFL game played in Minnesota in 29 years.

The Vikings lost both games, 21-3 against the Giants and 40-14 against the Bears.
