鈥淚鈥檓 someone who is LGBT-identified, feminist-identified, and from rural Pennsylvania,鈥 says Steve Lucas, a Hillary Clinton supporter who now lives in Washington. 鈥淎nd for someone to tell me I鈥檓 not progressive because I support Hillary Clinton 鈥 who has been a lightning rod for 25 years of all liberals 鈥 I have a hard time believing that.

鈥淎nd I also get really frustrated when people say, 鈥榃ell you鈥檙e not really a progressive if you don鈥檛 support Bernie.鈥 If you don鈥檛 support this and that and this and that, you鈥檙e not really a progressive. But that鈥檚 a really limited understanding of progressive politics and electoral politics.鈥
