New England Patriots victory parade scheduled for Tuesday in Boston

Mayor Martin Walsh's office said the parade will be held Tuesday. It starts at 11 a.m. at the Prudential Center and will end at City Hall.

The city of Boston has scheduled a聽parade聽for the Super Bowl champion New England聽Patriots.

Mayor Martin Walsh's office said the聽parade聽will be held Tuesday. It starts at 11 a.m. at the Prudential Center and will end at City Hall.

Fans from Boston to western Massachusetts celebrated the team's latest Super Bowl title raucously Sunday night and early Monday, but without the mayhem that has often followed sports championships.

Crowds of mostly college-aged fans gathered around Boston after the聽Patriots' 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, and although they screamed and chanted, they remained orderly.

Boston police said there were no arrests, adding: "Way to make your team & city proud."

Celebrations at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst were also largely restrained. The campus has had problems with violence at prior sports celebrations.
