Gay couple wins $100K wedding: Same-sex couples have been allowed to marry in Maine since December after voters approved a gaymarriage referendum.

A same-sex聽couple聽is getting their dream聽wedding聽courtesy of a Maine magazine.

Real Maine聽Weddings聽says Jenna Eagleton and Caroline Currie were chosen Sunday from three finalist聽couplesat the Maine聽Wedding聽Association Bridal Show in Freeport.

Same-sex聽couples聽have been allowed to marry in Maine since December after voters approved a聽gaymarriage referendum.

The Portland聽couple聽plans to get married in October in Kennebunkport. The $100,000 prize includes the reception, a聽wedding聽dress, tuxedos, rings, flowers and limousine service.

Couples聽enter the giveaway by submitting a video saying why they deserve a free dream聽wedding. Organizers say Currie's father asked the聽couple聽to move up their planned 2014聽wedding聽because he has leukemia.
