At one point in the WikiLeaks cables US officials equate Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with Adolf Hitler. But that鈥檚 par for the course 鈥 the cables also show that many nations are furious with Iran and angry about its march toward nuclear weapons capabilities.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak told a US diplomat that President Ahmadinejad 鈥渄oes not think rationally鈥 and that Iran is always 鈥渟tirring up trouble,鈥 for instance. King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia told Iran鈥檚 foreign minister to 鈥渟pare us your evil鈥 in a meeting. And Qatari Prime Minister Hamad bin Jassam bin Jaber al-Thani summarized for US diplomats his nation鈥檚 approach to diplomacy with Iran: 鈥淭hey lie to us and we lie to them.鈥
