Named after the evil sorceress from the "Sleeping Beauty" legend who curses the princess who pricks her finger on a spindle on her 16th birthday, this adaptation is still in pre-production, but is set to star Angelina Jolie as the villain. Rumors say "Super 8" star Elle Fanning may play Sleeping Beauty, but nothing is definite. "It鈥檚 the first time they鈥檙e looking at this epic woman," Jolie told . "I hope in the end you see a woman who is capable of being many things, and just because she protects herself and is aggressive, it doesn鈥檛 mean she can鈥檛 have other [warmer] qualities. You have to figure out the puzzle of what she is."
