Adapted from my recipe for
1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/3 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 eggs
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup pumpkin puree
3/4 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a loaf pan by greasing and lightly flouring the bottom and sides. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
