'James Bond 24' title and cast members: Here's what we know now about the movie

We now know the title and cast members for the next 鈥�James Bond鈥� movie.
According to the , the upcoming film will be titled 鈥淪pectre.鈥� As expected, 鈥�Skyfall鈥� star Daniel Craig is returning as the titular character and the actors who portrayed Bond鈥檚 team members in the last film 鈥� 鈥淧addington鈥� actor Ben Whishaw as tech whiz Q; Naomie Harris of 鈥淢andela: Long Walk to Freedom鈥� as Bond鈥檚 co-worker Moneypenny; and Ralph Fiennes of 鈥淭he Grand Budapest Hotel鈥� as, eventually, M, Bond鈥檚 superior 鈥� will all return, among others.聽
New members of the cast include 鈥淏ig Eyes鈥� actor Christoph Waltz (as previously rumored), Dave Bautista of 鈥淕uardians of the Galaxy,鈥� 鈥淪herlock鈥� actor Andrew Scott, 鈥淭he Wonders鈥� actress Monica Bellucci, and L茅a Seydoux of 鈥淏lue Is the Warmest Color.鈥� According to the Telegraph, 鈥淪pectre鈥� director Sam Mendes, who also helmed the 2012 film 鈥淪kyfall,鈥� introduced Seydoux and Bellucci at a press conference as 鈥淏ond ladies,鈥� eschewing the 鈥淏ond girl鈥� tag of previous films.
So about that title 鈥� fans of previous 鈥淏ond鈥� films know that Spectre stands for 鈥淪pecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion.鈥� (Yes, someone may have thought the name sounded cool and worked backwards.) In 鈥淏ond鈥� movies such as 鈥�Diamonds Are Forever,鈥� Bond battled the organization Spectre, which was headed up by famous villain Ernst Blofeld, previously portrayed onscreen by various actors, including 鈥淗alloween鈥� actor Donald Pleasence.
Is Blofeld in the new film, and if so, who鈥檚 playing him? Bautista was identified as playing a character named Mr. Hinx, who, according to the , is a henchman. According to the , Scott is playing a member of the British secret service named Denbigh. As for Waltz, 聽according to the Telegraph, Mendes didn鈥檛 name Waltz鈥檚 character during the press conference. In Ian Fleming鈥檚 novels, Hannes Oberhauser worked as Bond鈥檚 ski instructor and Oberhauser and Bond became close. However, Oberhauser vanishes.
鈥淪pectre鈥� is set to be released on Nov. 6 in the US.
