Chelsea Handler hosts the last episode of her E! program 'Chelsea Lately'

The last episode of late night TV host Chelsea Handler鈥檚 program 鈥�Chelsea Lately,鈥� which is found on E!, aired on Aug. 26.
Handler announced this June that she will be heading to Netflix, where she will not only have a talk show but will also release four 鈥渄ocu-comedy鈥� specials and a stand-up special, according to . The talk show will reportedly debut in 2016 and, according to the , Netflix spokesperson Karen Barragan said that the new show would most likely not have every episode go up on the website at the same time as has been the case for Netflix series like 鈥淥range Is the New Black鈥� and 鈥淎rrested Development.鈥� According to the NYT, Handler鈥檚 Netflix stand-up special will debut on Oct. 10.
Many celebrities, including actresses Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock and singers Miley Cyrus, Dave Grohl, Gwen Stefani, 50 Cent, and Selena Gomez appeared on the final episode of 鈥淐helsea Lately,鈥� which debuted on E! in 2007. Dozens of stars came on the last episode to sing to Handler, while Cyrus also performed the song 鈥淚t鈥檚 Over鈥� by Roy Orbison. The episode was filmed live, according to the website . 鈥淟ately鈥� is usually taped in the afternoon.聽

Handler鈥檚 program usually included the host delivering jokes and participating in a discussion with other staff writers or stars about topics of the day. People who often appeared in the discussion segment included Whitney Cummings of the NBC program 鈥�Whitney" and Mary Lynn Rajskub of the Fox show 鈥�24." Handler would also interview that night鈥檚 guest.
Handler is also the author of such books as 鈥淯ganda Be Kidding Me,鈥� which she released this past March.聽
