Allison Williams is cast in the title role for NBC's 'Peter Pan'
鈥淕irls鈥� actress Allison Williams has been cast in the title role of the upcoming live production of 鈥�Peter Pan鈥� that will air on NBC.
It was also recently announced that actor Christopher Walken, who starred in the 2007 movie musical 鈥淗airspray,鈥� among other singing and dancing work, will portray Captain Hook in the production.
鈥淚 have wanted to play Peter Pan since I was about three years old, so this is a dream come true,鈥� Williams said of her casting in a . 鈥淚t鈥檚 such an honor to be a part of this adventure, and I鈥檓 very excited to get to work with this extraordinarily talented team. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who executive-produced NBC鈥檚 2013 live musical 鈥�The Sound of Music,鈥� are also executive-producing 鈥淧an.鈥澛�
