Harrison Ford: Has he confirmed his role in Star Wars: Episode 7?
For years,聽聽fans have wondered what a sequel trilogy to the original three films would look like. What had become of iconic heroes like Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Princess Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) after the destruction of the second Death Star? Then came Disney鈥檚 acquisition of Lucasfilm and the subsequent聽.
Ever since, one of the main questions on fans鈥� minds has been whether or not any classic characters would make an appearance. Hamill and Fisher have previously hinted that they were in talks for a return to their most famous roles, but no official announcement has yet been made regarding any actors appearing in JJ Abrams鈥�Episode VII.听

鈥淚 think it鈥檚 almost true. I鈥檓 looking forward to it. It鈥檚 not in the bag yet, but I think it鈥檚 happening.鈥�
Right from the start, we knew that as everyone鈥檚 favorite space smuggler. However, his latest comment lends even greater credence to the belief that his return is likely imminent.听recently revealed that Ford and his co-stars were in final negotiations for the film, and聽聽has also expressed interest in joining the fold.
Disney and Lucasfilm may be waiting until contract negotiations are finished to reveal their intentions for the new聽Star Wars, but it鈥檚 becoming abundantly clear that they are planning a reunion of sorts for聽Episode VII. Meanwhile, the debate rages on about if the return of so many beloved characters will聽.
