'Bond 23' song: Who will pen theme music for next James Bond film?
With the new untitled Bond 23 film gearing up for production, outside of who will be a Bond Girl (rumors and), the next logical bit of fan curiosity is, who will do the theme song? For Casino Royale, they tapped Soundgarden鈥檚 Chris Cornell and for Quantum of Solace they got Alicia Keys and Jack White, for the first ever Bond duet.
Now, it looks like James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, has been pursuing The Kings of Leon for next November鈥檚 Bond 23. 鈥�Hmm. Daniel Craig has asked me before. I have turned him down 3 times already but maybe,鈥� says drummer Nathan Followill. 鈥�I鈥檝e always wanted to work with strings though so maybe yeah, that鈥檒l be a good excuse.鈥�
This new series has had a flair for using rock singers so far. Would you dig a Kings of Leon theme song? I mean, this series did use Duran Duran at one point鈥�.
