The iOS photo gallery is now searchable via location, which is particularly useful if you鈥檝e given the Photos app permission to tag your photos by geographical location. iOS 8 also changed the way it organizes your photos, grouping them first in chronological order, then by location. Albums are still available if you鈥檝e used that in the past to organize your photos.
Android's own gallery app organizes photos by folder. Android also has a Google+ Photos app, separately downloadable, that gives iCloud-like functionality鈥� automatic cloud backup, image editing, and closer integration with Google apps such as Google Drive.
