Pulse is snazzy. There is no doubt about that. With a few clicks, you can choose what kind of articles you want to read or import your settings from Google Reader and 鈥 bam! 鈥 all of the stories appear as neat little picture tiles with headlines on a black background.
You can post to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, or send an article link via e-mail. There are also options to save articles and change the fonts and shading to optimize your reading experience.
For shorter stories 鈥 think AP wire updates 鈥 you can read directly from the Pulse website, but for longer stories 鈥 New Yorker/Daily Beast features 鈥 the site spits out a new tab.
Is there an app? Yes. Pulse is available for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Cost? Free.
