Siri has a new look. The skeuomorphic linen background is gone, replaced with a translucent overlay of whatever was behind it. There鈥檚 also now a waveform at the bottom that undulates to ambient sound.
The functionality is improved, too. In iOS7, Siri is now better able to fiddle with your phone. You can ask her (or him) to turn Wi-Fi on and off, open apps, and read your e-mail and text messages, too.
Yep, you read that right. Siri can now be a him. You can change Siri鈥檚 gender by going into Settings > General > Siri and changing the setting called 鈥渧oice gender.鈥�
Male or female, Siri鈥檚 voice has a slightly more natural cadence now.
