Tired of someone 鈥� or more likely these days, something 鈥� calling you? Now you can block them on your phone. Previously, iPhone users would have to block numbers through their carrier. AT&T customers, for instance, would have to purchase the company鈥檚 鈥淪mart Limits鈥� plan to stop unwanted calls.
Here鈥檚 how Apple's version works: Open up your Phone app and click 鈥淩ecents鈥� or 鈥淐ontacts鈥� (for some reason, this won鈥檛 work via your Contacts app). Click the info button to the right of the name, and it will take you to their contact page. Scroll to the bottom, and click 鈥淏lock this Caller.鈥�
This feature will also block text messages originating from this number.
