In February 2011, Nokia and Microsoft announced a similar partnership deal that made Windows the primary operating system used by Nokia smart phones.
In March 2013, Microsoft鈥檚 Windows Phone overtook Blackberry, in terns of devices shipped worldwide, boosting Windows up to 3.2 percent of the market shares, with BlackBerry at 2.9 percent, according to an International Data Corporation .
Android and Apple iOS combined account for 92.3 percent of all smart phone shipments during the first quarter of 2013.聽
