Gas prices crash? Prices drop 10 cents in three weeks

The average U.S.聽price聽of a gallon of gasoline has dropped ten cents over the past three weeks.
That's according to the Lundberg Survey of fuel聽prices, released Sunday, which puts the聽price聽of a gallon of regular at $3.38.
Midgrade costs an average of $3.55 a gallon, and premium is $3.69.
Diesel dipped two cents to $4.02 a gallon.
Of the cities surveyed in the lower 48 states, Memphis, Tenn., has the nation's lowest average聽price聽for聽gas聽at $3.04. Long Island, N.Y. has the highest at $3.85.
In California, the lowest average聽price聽was $3.42 in Stockton and the highest was $3.73 in Bakersfield. The average statewide for a gallon of regular was $3.52, down a dime.
