Monday, Nov. 10 to Wednesday, Nov. 12: BEIJING 鈥 President Obama joins Russian President Vladimir Putin and other leaders at the听, hosted by China's President Xi Jinping. Secretary of State John Kerry was in China this week trumpeting US-China collaboration on climate change. With the GOP taking the US Senate, Mr. Obama will be under increased pressure both from home and abroad to expand US LNG trade with Asia. Meanwhile, Mr. Putin will also be eager to build upon an already growing gas alliance with Beijing.

听Wednesday, Nov. 12: LONDON 鈥 The International Energy Agency releases its听. All eyes will be on what IEA has to say about the future of US shale and OPEC in an era of cheaper oil.

Saturday, Nov. 15 to Sunday, Nov. 16: BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA 鈥 Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott 丑辞蝉迟蝉听. US and EU delegates are pushing to get climate change on the table, but the climate skeptical Abbott government has resisted. If it does end up on the official program it will likely be tucked under the header of "energy efficiency." Either way, President Obama will likely give global warming attention in his summit address.
