Small Business Saturday is different this year
In the past,聽聽has been a great opportunity the day after Black Friday to save up to $20 off any purchase of $20 or more at your favorite small business by using your American Express card. 聽This year, though, those discounts are going away, and you're now targeted for specific offers.
Some people will be offered $10 off a Small Business of their choosing, but others are out of luck (like me). However, there are other offers out there that are available to everyone with an American Express card.
First, sign into your account and find the offers tab. You'll see various offers available to you, one of which could be the Small Business Saturday offer. One available to everyone is $20 off $199 or more spent at聽. This offer is great, because this is in addition to any other savings you might already be using, like coupons or sale items. Other offers include those from聽听补苍诲听. My targeted offers include聽$10 off $50 or more at Olive Garden, a restaurant I've never eaten at.
So, while Small Business Saturday has changed a bit from last year (which was already diluted), it's still available to some of you! Were you targeted?
