Home prices slump nationwide in November

Home prices on the S&P Case Shiller home price indices declined from October ,with prices falling 0.26% while the Composite-20 index declined 0.22% over the same period.

Today's release of the聽聽for November reported that the non-seasonally adjusted Composite-10 price index declined from October with prices falling 0.26% from while the Composite-20 index declined 0.22% over the same period.聽

The 10-city composite index increased 4.17% as compared to November 2013 while the 20-city composite increased 4.31% over the same period.

Both of the broad composite indices still show significant peak declines slumping -20.55% for the 10-city national index and -19.42% for the 20-city national index on a peak comparison basis.聽
