Gas prices rise to $3.93 a gallon

Gas prices nationally are up 11 cents over past few weeks. Lowest gas prices of cities surveyed? Tulsa, Okla., with $3.58 a gallon.

The average U.S.聽price聽of a gallon of gasoline has jumped 11 cents over the past two weeks.

That's according to the Lundberg Survey of fuel聽prices, released Sunday, which puts the聽price聽of a gallon of regular at $3.93.

Midgrade costs an average of $4.07 a gallon, and premium is at $4.18.

Diesel was up a nickel, to $4.20.

Of the cities surveyed, Tulsa, Okla., has the nation's lowest average聽price聽for聽gas聽at $3.58. Chicago has the highest at $4.56.

In California, the lowest average聽price聽was $4.24 in Fresno. The highest was $4.34 in Los Angeles. The average statewide for a gallon of regular was $4.31, down a penny.
