Comedian Amy Schumer has reportedly signed a book deal.

Schumer will release a memoir through Gallery Books and the work is expected to come out sometime in the latter half of 2016.听

The book will 鈥渙ffer personal and observational stories from Schumer that range from the raunchy to the romantic, the heartfelt to the harrowing,鈥� Gallery Books said in a .听

Schumer, who is a co-creator, writer, and star on the Comedy Central program 鈥淚nside Amy Schumer鈥� and starred in and wrote this summer鈥檚 romantic comedy hit 鈥淭rainwreck,鈥� said of her upcoming book in a , 鈥淏elieve it or not, there's actually more I have to say.鈥�

The news comes just a few days after Schumer鈥檚 Comedy Central show won the Emmy Award for best variety sketch series. Schumer herself was nominated for best actress in a comedy for her work on the program and shared nominations for best directing for a variety series and best writing for a variety series with others.听

Schumer also recently received praise for a speech she delivered at the Gloria Awards earlier this year. "I say if I'm beautiful," she said. "I say if I'm strong. You will not determine my story."

Books written by entertainment personalities continue to be big business in the publishing world. Mindy Kaling, who created and stars in the Hulu sitcom 鈥淭he Mindy Project,鈥� had her new book 鈥淲hy Not Me?鈥� debut at number two on the IndieBound hardcover nonfiction list in the week of its release. 鈥淢odern Love鈥� by Aziz Ansari of the recently-ended TV show 鈥淧arks and Recreation鈥� is on the same list at number seven. 鈥淪ick in the Head鈥� by Judd Apatow, who directed Schumer鈥檚 movie 鈥淭rainwreck,鈥� is below it at number 13.

Meanwhile, 鈥淧arks鈥� star Amy Poehler鈥檚 book 鈥淵es Please鈥� is at number three on the IndieBound trade paperback nonfiction list and 鈥淏ossypants鈥� by Tina Fey, who co-created the Netflix show 鈥淯nbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,鈥� is still at number six on the mass market bestseller list more than four years after its release.
