Reese Witherspoon will narrate 'Go Set a Watchman' audiobook

Actress Reese Witherspoon will soon be bringing to life some of the most beloved characters ever created.
The 鈥淲ild鈥 actress will be narrating the audiobook for Harper Lee鈥檚 upcoming novel 鈥淕o Set a Watchman,鈥 which catches up with the characters of 鈥淭o Kill a Mockingbird鈥 years later.
鈥淎s a Southerner, it is an honor and privilege to give voice to the Southern characters who inspired my childhood love of reading, Scout and Atticus Finch," Witherspoon said in a . "I am eager for readers to be transported to a pivotal time in American history in the manner that only Harper Lee's gorgeous prose can deliver.鈥
The audiobook will be released at the same time as the print version of 鈥淲atchman鈥 鈥 both will come out this July.
Witherspoon won a Best Actress Oscar for her work in the 2005 movie 鈥淲alk the Line鈥 and was nominated for the same prize for her work in 鈥淲ild.鈥 Her recent movie appearances include other literary adaptations like 鈥淚nherent Vice鈥 and 鈥淲ater for Elephants.鈥
