Amy Poehler's 'Yes Please' continues to thrive on bestseller lists

Amy Poehler鈥檚 sitcom 鈥淧arks and Recreation鈥 may have just ended, but her book 鈥淵es Please鈥 isn鈥檛 going anywhere.
Poehler鈥檚 book 鈥淵es,鈥 which was released this past October, is staying strong on the bestseller lists. The title was ranked at number six on the IndieBound hardcover nonfiction list for the week of April 2 and it also placed at number six on the hardcover nonfiction list for the week of April 5. Meanwhile, it鈥檚 at number 10 on the combined print and e-book nonfiction list for the same week.
鈥淵es鈥 includes Poehler's reflections on her childhood, her time on 鈥淪aturday Night Live,鈥 and her work on 鈥淧arks,鈥 among other recollections.聽
Reviews of Poehler's memoir were mixed. Some critics called the book a 鈥渕ess鈥 and wrote that 鈥渓ots of this book feels like filler,鈥 while others found 鈥淵es鈥 鈥渨ise [and] earnest鈥 and 鈥渢ruly hilarious.鈥
