Kelly Link's 'Get in Trouble' is well-received by critics
Kelly Link鈥檚 new short story collection 鈥淕et In Trouble鈥� is receiving many positive reviews.
The book by Link, the author of works such as 鈥淧retty Monsters,鈥� was released earlier this month and was selected as one of the best books of the month by Amazon. 鈥淪he's one of the great under-sung writers,鈥� Amazon editorial director Sara Nelson said of Link.
Meanwhile, book critic Meg Wolitzer found the book to have 鈥渁stonishing freedom鈥�. [Link has] confidence and storytelling chops鈥�. Link perfectly mimics the cadences of teenagers talking to one another.鈥� reviewer David L. Ulin called the book "unsettling and vivid.... [I]t resonates with depth and maturity."
