Another of Stephen King鈥檚 novels is coming to television.聽
King鈥檚 book 鈥淢r. Mercedes,鈥 which was released in 2014, is reportedly being adapted for the small screen by Sonar Entertainment, according to . It will be a limited series and David E. Kelley, best known as creator of such TV series as 鈥Boston Legal鈥 and 鈥Ally McBeal,鈥 is adapting the novel.
鈥淭his is an amazing opportunity to adapt a script from material penned by one of the world鈥檚 most acclaimed and accomplished authors,鈥 Kelley said in a statement. 鈥淢r. Mercedes is a great story that will translate beautifully to the screen if I don鈥檛 mess it up.鈥
Jack Bender, who has directed episodes of the CBS series 鈥淯nder the Dome鈥 that is based on the Stephen King book of the same name, is set to direct聽
